There's (nearly) all about remote controlled and submersible model submarines!

With around 300 members worldwide, from beginners to professionals, Sonar e.V. has been involved in all aspects of RC model submarine construction for over 20 years. The exchange of information and tips on the hobby are in the foreground. Every year U-Boot meetings and participation in trade fairs and exhibitions take place, where there is intensive shop talk about models and technology and also the togetherness is not neglected.

With the club's own quarterly magazine SONAR - a main concern of the club - an informative and appealing medium has emerged on all submarine-related topics that is very popular. The articles in the journal are written by the members, but guest authors are also welcome. There are reports and tips on building model submarines of all types, but also technical and electronic solutions: building instructions for almost all required components, items for 3D printing to CNC milling, as well as for meetings and trade fairs for all things hobby . In addition, there are articles on history, exhibitions and museums up to the "big" submarines, which make the SONAR a real treasure trove.
